Job Description

To support our statistical analysis and research projects. This position offers opportunity to gain experience in statistical modelling, data analysis, and interpretation. This position is ideal for an MSc holder looking to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical and impactful setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, preprocess, and validate data from various sources to ensure data integrity.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and implement statistical models and techniques to address research questions.
• Assist in the design and execution of experiments and surveys.
• Utilize statistical software and tools (e.g., R, Stata) for data analysis and visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide statistical support for projects.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations of analytical findings for various stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of data collection methodologies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated from an MSc program in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, probability, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R or Stata.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
• Experience with large datasets and database management is a plus.
