Olusesan Makinde, MBBS, MSc, MS, PMP, OCP
Olusesan Makinde is a Medical graduate from the University of Ibadan with a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics from the same University. He holds a second Master of Science in Applied Health Sciences Informatics from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. He is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in Demography and Population Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He is studying the compliance with disease surveillance and notification by private healthcare providers in South-West Nigeria. Additionally he is a certified Project Management Professional and an Oracle 10g Certified Database Administrator.
He has several years of experience in public health consulting working across several African countries. He has worked and provided consultancy services to various organizations which include the World Health Organization, UNICEF, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Abt Associates Inc., John Snow Inc. Pro-Health International, Hygeia Health Maintenance Organization and White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood.
Dr. Makinde has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and continues to contribute to knowledge on various health and development topics. His domain of expertise includes epidemiology, health information systems, surveillance, project management, infectious diseases and human trafficking.
Olalekan Olaleye MBBS, FWACS, FMCOG
Dr. Olaleye is a medical graduate from the University of Ibadan, Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and a Fellow of the National Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has worked extensively in adolescent and reproductive health. Dr. Olaleye brings to VKM extensive knowledge on reproductive and maternal health issues.
Chioma Ezomike MPH, PMP
Chioma Ezomike is an ardent public health professional with 8 years of experience in implementing community-based health and development programs. Chioma holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of London and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Abia State University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional.
Chioma gained several years of experience in project management, grant management, volunteer management, capacity building and health systems strengthening while working on United State Government (USG) funded projects in Nigeria. Until recently, she served as a Program Manager at Pro-Health International where she worked on several PEPFAR funded projects in Northern Nigeria. In addition, she has provided specialist services as a consultant to FHI 360 during which she provided management training for Primary Health Care workers and State Implementation Teams in South-Eastern states of Nigeria.
